In a time when it’s easy to get lost in the instant gratification that is the hallmark of social media, lighting design studio PELLE suggests a different take: be patient.

For its latest lighting release, partners Jean and Oliver Pelle have created a ceiling pendant that “calls for an attentive appreciation for the physical.”

Appropriately named Be Patient, the lamp spans over six feet in width and is encapsulated in a hand-polished aluminum exterior, which will gradually reveal its nuances over time. Hidden inside are panels that help diffuse light, adding warmth to any space.
