Since we all appreciate modularity buzzing around these days – whether obvious or covert – the new stool by Karim Rashid was a no-brainer. Made using rotomoulded polyethylene, the Snoop Stool has what some might call a triple threat to its design. Although clearly a stool for sitting or reclining with our feet on it, the Snoop is also functional as a low table, since it comes with two built-in pockets for magazines and books, and can actually find itself stacked on top of one another to utilize more surface area.

Another use for the Snoop is as a bookcase given its various sizes and shapes that all fit together nicely. Plus, depending upon how much you read, your bookcase instantly stacks to becomes a customized version for those larger-than-life collections of literature or trinkets. Speaking of which, the Snoop stool comes in a wide variety of colors that include (but are not limited to) white, teal, red, black, and lime green.

The name “Snoop” originates from the verb “to snoop” due to the lines and profile drawn from the  box. However, it also takes its lines from the famous cartoon – and fittingly, the lovable create – we know well as Snoopy.
