Keep It Straight with Nobilia’s nBOX
Among the many fabulous companies at KBIS 2025, Nobilia sparked my attention because of its nBOX system. I LOVE a good drawer—and am too often disappointed with their construction. I detest a drawer that goes askew, leading to uneven gaps between drawers that railroad through cabinets like Frankenstein’s monster’s ill-sewn stitches.

But nBOX is notably straight. Straight as an arrow. Because Nobilia prides itself on its German engineering.
Since the company recently opened its first U.S. headquarters and first North American showroom in Miami, we’re introducing the nBOX drawer as part of our Miami-themed coverage. Bienvenidos, Nobilia!

NBOX can handle a lot. One drawer can hold up to 70 kilograms (that’s roughly 154 pounds)! Customize the drawers with sides in different colors. Or drawers can be closed on the sides with solid or glass panels. The side rails remain invisible, so all you see is one sleek box. And soft closing comes standard with Nobilia.

Nobilia Kitchen in Olive, at KBIS 2025
Available finishes on Nobilia cabinets and drawers span the aesthetic spectrum from sleek European to earthy farmhouse styles. At KBIS 2025, a new Olive kitchen enchanted many.

Some Americans might not know the Nobilia name, but the German company has been family-owned since 1945—and its known for quality craftsmanship and unique storage solutions.
