Salone 2025: Anemon From the Archives
If the city at any point begins to overwhelm you during Milan Design Week, head towards Kasthall’s Milan showroom in the Brera Design District for a moment of peace and calm.

There you’ll find a joint exhibit between Kasthall and Astrid created by A Studio Between. The theme? You have stepped off the bustling streets into a meadow of flowers in the middle of spring.

Kasthall is unveiling Anemon, their new, hand-tufted area rug based off a watercolor Gunilla Lagerhem Ullberg painted of wildflowers in 1991.

Anemon comes in three colorways: Anemon Blue, Anemon Lilac, and Anemon Coral.

Anemon Blue stays true to the original aquarelle. The design uses 20 different color blends and over 30 yarn colors to create the six tones for the petals and five for the pistils.

Lilac and Coral are modern reinterpretations by the Kasthall Design Team.

Anemon Lilac softens any space with a mix of relaxing purple, beige, and grey-blue.

Anemon Coral speaks of terracotta, cream, and gold.

Like all of their textiles, this piece is hand-tufted at the brand’s Kinna factory in Sweden. Anemon is made using pure wool blended with linen.
