At Design Miami 2023: Circles and Lines
The play of circles, lines, and other asynchronous shapes is well on display with Jamie Harris’ Circles and Lines Chandelier VI this week at Design Miami.

The idea here is to highlight the contrast between the geometric, linear brass armature and the blown glass bulbs.

Nor is that the only contrast on display. Close examination of the shades reveals a quriky symphony of the circle or circle-like, in addition to varying takes on transparency: from completely clear to translucent to opaque and downright frosted over with a sheen of icy pink.

Circles and Lines Chandelier VI is made of brass and glass. Harris does everything down to the last, including hand-blowing the bulbs, cutting the armature to custom size, assembly, and wiring.
