There’s something elemental about Anna Karlin’s Lantern Stack.

A series of fiberglass diffusers joined by a serpintining piping of brass and rivets, Lantern Stack is equal parts modern and paleolithic.

The individual diffusers have a hieroglyphic aspect about them that evokes cave art or symbological forms of communication.

Illumination is achieved via a single source, evenly distributed throughout for a “soft, organic glow.”
