Sixty by Sestig
Black Ivory Satin and Titiano Travertino Marble make excellent bedfellows in the Sixty collection from Ceadesign of taps, accessories, monolithic washbasin, and mirror, all designed by architect Glenn Sestig.
The name reflects the Flemish pronunciation of the Belgian architect’s last name, an homage that also makes the pronunciation available to English speakers.
Another explanation is that the numerical-sounding name refers to the many gradations of earth tones predominant in both the monolithic basin and the coffee-colored accessories and mixers.
Sixty is made from AISI 316L stainless steel, a highly hygienic material that’s also environmentally friendly and completely recyclable.
Known for his synthesis of clean modern lines and elegant forms, Sestig recently collaborated with the luxury Belgian coastal hotel La Reserve on a major renovation: “The mix of minimalist architecture and luxury materials by Sestig created a new identity for the space, down to every single detail.”
