Julie Neill’s Talia Chandelier for Visual Comfort

Delicate, faceted globes of glass cohere around an elegant brass ring in Julie Neil’s Talia series for Visual Comfort.

The exuberant conglomeration evokes soap bubbles, joined together by a nearly invisible gossamer thread; or grapes on the vine, bursting with ripeness and ready to be transformed into a spring Pinot Gris.

Inspired by the reflective qualities of glass, designer Neill assembled the delicate globes around a subtle ring of light. Depending upon light conditions and the chandelier’s slight movements, the globes create a mirroring effect, with subtle hints of amber light navigating throughout.
