BonTon designs offers handmade tile created by founder Mary Anderson. A self-taught ceramicist, Anderson’s designs have an aesthetic singularity— grounded in the artist’s own perception, they’re prone to interesting variation.

Says Anderson, “My designs are often inspired by an observation of nature or my surroundings. The graceful expressiveness of a flowering branch, a barren tree in the snow, ragged prairie grasses…”

The tile is exceptionally vivid. Subjects range from the spidering branches of a tree in winter to the impish grin of a devilish figure to abstract designs inspired by Art Deco and Art Nouveau.
