The Art of Simplicity Tile Collection

Ambiente European Tile Design has teamed up with Villeroy & Boch on an auspicious new collection of floor and wall tiles: The “Art of Simplicity” is comprised of seven new styles, featuring “organic motifs, geometric patterns, and three-dimensional surfaces.”

Alta has a captivating Pointillist effect. What appears uniform from a few steps back is revealed as complex and intricate upon closer inspection. With subtle shading and delicate striations of color, Alta is versatile and elegant.

Nocturne, to the contrary, has a penchant for drama. This porcelain stoneware tile captures the flash and flair of marble, reproducing its fine veining and contrasts in color for a contemporary look—“an impressive, extremely noble atmosphere in classic and modern settings alike.”

And Ombra embraces contrasts. Juxtaposing subtle gray scale gradations with a linear relief and a graphic floral pattern, Ombra offers varying views of a coherent vision—light, shadow, and the perspective of the viewer conspire to create a constantly varied décor.
