kwic is Slick
Serge and Robert Cornelissen are on to something with kwic, a slim and simple lighting concept for Axolight.

Comprised of a thin aluminum disc and an opaline blown glass diffuser, kwic gives the effect of a magnetized interaction—the diffuser joined to the stabilizing surface through intractable attraction.

The aesthetic is one of futuristic whimsy, with the diffuser’s slightly offset arrangement adding to its playful sense.
