Designed by Rotterdam-based design studio Atelier Van Lieshout for Dutch brand Moooi, the Statistocrat lamp was conceived as a 3D representation of drawings, schedules and statistics for a utopian city.
Atelier Van Lieshout's Statistocrat lamp for Dutch brand Moooi features four shades
The lamp consists of four shades staggered across a 2 meter-long vertical bar, each with a different purpose. The tallest shade projects light towards the ceiling, the wider shade acts as a reading lamp, while the lowest shade functions as a side table lit by a smaller shade directly above.
Launched earlier this year, the Stratistocrat lamp is made from powder coated aluminum and is available in 25 different colors with hand dimmers for each shade.
