Those familiar with the work of French architects DPA will see visual similarities between the metal mesh used on many of the firm’s architectural projects and the pattern featured on their new line of rugs for French brand, Chevalier Edition.

When designing the Zigzag rug for Chevalier Edition, DPA’s principals, Dominique Perrault & Gaëlle Lauriot-Pr©vost, were inspired by the pattern of the metal mesh that they’ve used across several of their buildings.

The geometric zig-zag pattern is also incorporated into the shape of the rug, which features jagged edges.

Made in luxurious hand knotted wool and/or silk, the rugs are available in two sizes, 174 x 200 cm and 123 x 334 cm, and in yellow or black and white colorways.
