Alias Introduces the iconic Laleggera Chair by Riccardo Blumer in Leather
Originally launched in 1996, the classic Laleggera chair by Italian designer Riccardo Blumer for Alias has been updated with a series of new leather upholstery options for 2013.
This elegant but practical chair is now available in tactile, full-grain or synthetic leather.
Made from solid wood injected with polyurethane foam, the sturdy and stackable Laleggera chair is a groundbreaking design that has been part of the resident MoMA collection in New York since 2009.
For 2013, Alias have introduced new full-grain leather and synthetic-leather upholstery finishes that add softness and tactility to this classic design.
Previously only available in wood, customers can now have their Laleggera chair upholstered in black, sand, beige, white or dark brown leather that seamlessly covers the entire chair from top to bottom.
Suitable for both home or professional environments, Laleggera’s new leather finish has been applied to all versions of the chair (with and without arms) and including the Laleggera bench, making this iconic series even more adaptable.
