The Tierra Collection by Sancal

The Tierra Collection by Sancal

Spanish brand Sancal unveiled seven new additions to its product line at the Salone del Mobile earlier this month.

The aptly-named Sumo collection comprises a sofa and an armchair with generous proportions.

Called the Tierra Collection, Sancal has introduced seven new, interrelated pieces of furniture.

Jose Manuel Ferrero of Estudihac presented Casta, a castanet-inspired armchair with a metal frame and upholstered seat.

The elephant poufs by Spanish studio Nadadora are a flexible seating solution that combine oak, copper, graphite, wool, linen and cotton. Perfect for the office environment, the modular design combines seating with built-in occasional tables that can be used for resting a laptop or drink.

French designer Iona Vautrin conceived this trio of conical-shaped side tables and a stool called Pion.

Inspired by mangrove swamp roots, Sebastian Herkner designed the Talo armchair .

Tecono is a voluminous new sofa by Rafa Garcia.

Also by Rafa Garcia, Nido is a small armchair with branch-like legs
