The Teach Well Mobile Digital Workspace by Ergotron
Looking at the rolling casters and multi-use, media-savvy functionality of Ergotron's Teach Well, I'm reminded of that ad featuring a robotic, mobile TV monitor that allows a boy stuck in the hospital to be a full classroom participant. The point of the ad is that, when used intelligently, technology lets us overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
Teach Well is a Combination Media Cart and Sit/Stand Desk
Ergotron's clever Teach Well employs technology to do just that. In this case, the obstacles are desks with poor ergonomics and clumsy classroom media infrastructure. By consolidating multi-media tools into a single space, Teach Well lets teachers access laptop and CPU, keyboard and mouse, portable document cameras, projection devices, and more: "Un-tether from a desk or podium and move wherever needed to deliver a collaborative curriculum."
The unit's easy maneuverability is a great complement to its plug-in/plug-out functionality. The sit/stand option makes it easy for teachers to use it as a small desk-for both prep time and to create a casual classroom dynamic-as well as a standing lectern/podium for traditional lecturing and/or as control center for multi-media displays.
Teach Well's one-hand, under-desk adjustment feature enables easy control of most portable document cameras. The unit works with on-board projectors as well as remote displays and projection devices
