In Motion Collection from Momentum Textiles
For Momentum Textiles’ designer Emily Garcia, contemporary dance was the muse for In Motion, the company’s newest Crypton Green® upholstery fabric collection. Designed to complement almost any interior environment, the unique textiles drew their inspiration from the intense precision and fluid spontaneity of modern dance. Made of 43 percent post-consumer and 29 percent post-industrial recycled polyester, the three-pattern collection has reduced environmental impact.

Dance-Inspired In Motion Collection Modern and Fresh
The Flection pattern evokes the natural curve of a dancer’s back and extended arms. The body in motion creates this landscape of arcs and bends. The Torque pattern suggests the seemingly randomness of movement. Torque is offered in seven color options: blackest (black and neutral,) Clementine (orange and neutral,) edge (yellow and gray,) quarry (orange and tan,) skylight (light green and blue-green, pictured above,) taro (brown, white and tan,) and tropicalia (green and white.)
The Elevate pattern illuminates the use of gravity in choreography and is an expression of intensity and athleticism. Elevate is available in six color options: charged (red and orange with blue accents,) ecstatic (neutrals with yellow accents,) lightful (neutrals with orange accents,) ocean deep (sea greens with light green accents, pictured above,) quench (light blue with light orange accents,) and sunspill (yellow with neutral accents.)
