If you are reading this and you a) are a guy b) have yet to bestow your college futon upon the dumpster divers or c) a girl who’s guy/brother/friends needs a bit of a kick-in-the-pants style-wise, look no further. While the prices of a few of these items may not be so easy to digest, from a design standpoint, these products should help to orient these late-adopters towards what we are this week calling “Brave Bachelor Pads.”

1. Perhaps the sleekest of any bathroom faucet I’ve ever seen, the Ondus Collection by Grohe is a wildly successful integration of digital technology into the once-simple-now sophisticated art of plumbing.

2. An article earlier this week we identified Leucos’ Moai light as one to “put you in the mood. A part rock, part blob-shaped lamp that seems ideally suited nearly anywhere, the Moai will do the trick if you have yet to install remote-controlled light dimmers through your pad.

3. They say the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. If this means that he is going to be doing the dishes after dinner then we think it fair to suggest that (one) way to a woman’s heart might be through a hot plumbing fixture. Kohler’s versatile Karbon faucet is just that.

4. Nothing reads success like a strong work ethic and the lustrous office accessories that make it possible. Balmuda’s Airline task lamp will certainly make you look like the office whiz kid you say you are (and might just turn you into one too).

5. All aspiring brave bachelors know that when it comes to woo-her automotive excellence, a Porsche is just about as good as it gets. Poggenpohl’s P7340 collaboration with the infamous German car company is a surefire way to woo her with your culinary excellence (or at the very least, the combination of your excellent taste and leftovers of your pre-recession salary).
