Angelina Dipino, designer at Miami-based DKOR Interiors, created this bathroom in a new modern home in Miami, Florida. She chose the Aubrey Basin from London Basin Company. The soft pink, green, and earthy tones in the bathroom complement the home’s Miami location—where these colors arise year-round in the lush landscape.

Dipino chose a variety of textures, patterns, and sleek modern finishes to create a bathroom that is calming, yet distinctive and interesting in its variety. The Aubrey Basin itself picks up Pantone’s Color of the Year (Mocha Mousse), with its earthy brown tones.  

The Aubrey Basin, by London Basin Company, adds an Asian flavor, being mindful of the baskets woven there of seagrass and rattan. Etched and created by hand, the basin lends itself to exotic design details, such as wallpaper with the floral textures of tropical climates.

But it also blends with neutral colors whose geometric shapes might differ from the basin itself, adding more interplay between the bathroom’s elements.
