Abe has been navigating Chicago comedy since 2003. He’s done shows and standup showcases all over the world, from The Paul Bunyan Comedy Festival in Oscoda, MI to a mom and pop cafe in the Himalayan foothills of Northern India. He also kicks around his two-man show, MAN1 MAN2. He is a member of ComedySportz Chicago ensemble and a darn good artist, too.
Brit Belsheim is an actress, writer, and comedienne in Chicago. She graduated from the University of Southern California as well as the National Bartending School. Brit has studied acting and improvisation in Los Angeles and Chicago.
A classically-trained stage-actor, Jamie has also studied with every major comedy institution in Chicago, including Second City, ComedySportz, iO, and The Annoyance. He has appeared in theatrical productions throughout the nation, including stints with Wayside Theatre, Brain Surgeon Theatre, Hobo Junction, Nightingale Theatre, and many more.
Jay will gladly talk endlessly about how much better the world would be if everyone took just one improv class. He has taught and performed improv professionally for over 25 years and is the founder of Today Improv, which teaches improv to actors, business, and everybody else, all over the world.
Kevin was unable to provide an official bio as he’s currently locked in a closet. That said, we’ve learned that when not performing or interning for Monarch, Kevin is typically operating as a Product Manager focussed on the intersection of design and technology. Previously he’s worked at Sotheby’s, Designer Pages, and ArtBinder. Currently, Kevin is working at Wayfair.
Kevin Pomeroy is a Chicago based comedian and improviser who has performed in shows all over the country. He currently tours with Mission Improvable performing for colleges and military bases across the US. He co-created The Stevens Family, and was a regular ensemble member with ComedySportz Chicago for the past six years. He also performs stand-up at various venues around Chicago.
Maggie Smith is a writer and actor based in Chicago. She has performs for The Second City Theatricals, ComedySportz, and on live TV on The Jam on Chicago’s WCIU network. Her writing credits include The Onion, McSweeney’s, Reductress, The Second City Network, and her own satirical news show at The Second City called “The News* with Maggie Smith.”
Ryan Williams graduated from Metro State in Denver with a BA in Theatre. He is also a graduate of The Players Workshop West in Denver and The Second City Conservatory in Chicago. He has been studying, performing, and teaching acting and improvisation for over eleven years.
