Get on the Square with Jewel Glass and Stone Mosaics
Inspired by her Scottish McCaleb family ancestors, designer Baldwin has been fascinated by gingham and plaid since she was a child: “I was immersed in family lore and creating clothes with traditional Scottish patterns fueled my imagination. To create the same classic patterns in glass and stone is a wonderful way to pay homage to my family and those fantastic early creative experiments in design.” The collections five classic designs include Rory, Hamish, Bonnie, Conner, and McIntyre.
Available in jewel glass and natural stone, the look of these mosaics changes dramatically depending on the chosen material. A large plaid like Hamish in shades of blue and brown looks sophisticated. The smaller Bonnie is captivating in green hues. Stone lends all patterns in the Gingham and Plaid Collection a sober note that’s perfect for libraries, dens, and great rooms.
