Links and chains are often confined to roles such as straps and hanging devices. Simone Bellan designed the Tessuti lamp for Evistyle using links as the focal point, composing the shade or diffuser rather than the disguised hardware, as is standard. A cascade of shimmering glass, the shape of the lamp itself is customizable for width and length, and even as a graduated form that tapers at the bottom.

Sdesignnuit’s Light Vase collection, with its lighting-like aesthetic, proved that pairing up glass with light can produce some great effects. The glass hooks in the contemporary Tessuti lamps are made according to the Murano artistic techniques, available in a simple crystal clear finish and in color variations including transparent amber or smoky-grey, and opaque white glass.
