Floral Fantasies: Designer Vases by Bosa
Italian brand Bosa is getting in on the fantastic florals trend by highlighting its line of ceramic vases by international designers—not the least of which is the fabulous Spaniard Jaime Hayon.
Theater Hayon: King Vase by Jaime Hayon
King Vase is equal parts royal and remarkable. Its vibrant colors and gold accents lend the vase a luxurious air, while the king’s expression gives good face, as Madonna would say.
I think he looks suspicious, especially with those emotive eyebrows and marvelous moustache.
Sisters: Clara by Pepa Reverter
The Sisters Collection includes five vases, each named after a different damsel.
Designed by Pepa Reverter, Clara is a tall vase with the face of a sleeping beauty. I can see Clara with an abundance of lavender sprigs—what type of flowers would you use?
Primates: Brazza by Elena Salmistraro
Elena Salmistraro created the Primates Collection “to remind us of the delicate relationship between man and ape.”
Brazza represents the DeBrazza’s monkey, native to central Africa. He looks wise, which may very well be Salmistraro’s point: “this power of similarity to man is what makes it fascinating,” says Bosa.
Can I just say I’d love to see what Blue Jasmine and September Studio could do with these Baso vases?
