Ethimo Opens Doors
This is our very last post on Casa Italia, we promise.
Ethimo’s Elisir Dining Ensemble (A bit more of a relaxed vibe than that prevailing at Casa Italia).
After covering Allure ‘O and Flair ‘O furnishings and Flos’ impressive lighting fixtures, we move to the final installment of our Olympic design coverage with Outdoor opportunities from Ethimo.
Marco Lavit’s Hut.
Encompassing enclosure seems to be the name of the game here with a pair of outdoor shelters where, one imagines, non-prevailing athletes may repair to nurse their psychic wounds. Hut, by Marco Lavit, is somewhere between a teepee and a yurt, with integrated seating, a privacy curtain, and a slatted design that allows entry of lovely filtered light.
Then there’s Patrick Norguet’s Swing. A rocking garden sofa framed with a flexible metal structure containing a Teak-sided seat, Swing offers the same kind of breezy privacy as Hut, albeit with the added bonus of gentle rocking.

Ethimo’s flagship outdoor dining ensemble, Elisir offers sofas, tables, dining chairs, armchairs, and lounges—many of which dot the grounds at Le Pré Catelan for contemporary yet comfy elegance.
Lastly, Marcelo Ziliani’s Kilt is encompassing too, with a swooping back profile of braided rope that’s a quintessential display of outdoor relaxation.
Kilt by the seaside and on the grounds at Casa Italia.
