At KBIS 2025: SMEG’s All New All-Stars
In the West Hall at KBIS, the newest and soon-to-launch SMEG appliances are already on view. We got a preview today, and we can attest they are as sparkling and as shiny and as pretty as one might imagine.

SMEG’s 2025 launch includes more than 50 (!!) new SKUs across its full suite of cooking, cooling, and cleaning. This even includes the Italian company’s foray into the laundry category with a 24’’ front-loading stackable washer and electric dryer.

“This year’s product rollout is the culmination of years of development, and we couldn’t be prouder to finally present these as part of our overall plan for the U.S. market,” said Rod Gower, Managing Director of SMEG USA.

SMEG is expanding its collection of “premium cooling solutions” (read: refrigerators) with built-in and freestanding options complete with SMEG’s refined and vintage sparkle.

The all-new Dolomite collection includes customizable configurations for refrigeration, freezer, wine columns, and bottom-mount refrigerators. These can come with stainless steel or custom panel doors.

Additionally, SMEG’s new lineup of freestanding counter-depth refrigeration is available in French or single door configurations and boasts premium features, such as an internal water dispenser and automatic ice maker, along with dual evaporators and an inverter compressor to optimize temperature control so food stays fresh for longer.

SMEG’s Countertop Combi Oven
We are equally giddy about SMEG’s Countertop Combi Oven, which as the name implies feels right at home on your kitchen countertop.

The Combi Oven is a steam oven with best-in-class technology.

Its aesthetic lines, glossy of-the-moment colors (Cream, White, and Black for now here in the US), and promises of professional level results already has me dealing with a carbonated “I want one!!!” feeling in my chest.

Combi Oven does it all and with quite a lot of pizazz.
Cook fish, vegetables, cakes, cookies, breads, pizzas, meats, and more to perfection.

There’s a Traditional Menu, a Steam Menu, and a Chef Menu.

Three more colors are coming soon to include a pastel blue, a pastel green, and a red.

Currently in Italy all colors are available.

We also got to see part of SMEG’s Retro Collection today that features a fabulous matte finish. The great thing about matte is you don’t see your reflection in the refrigerator door, which is nice especially first thing in the morning.

As the adage goes, you learn something new every day, and today I learned SMEG is actually an acronym. It stands for “Smalterie Metallurgiche Emiliane Guastalla,” which roughly translates to “Enameling and metal factory located in the town of Guastalla, Italy, in the Emilia Romagna region.”

SMEG was established in 1948 and to this day remains proudly Italian and family-owned and operated. Their beautifully crafted kitchen products combine technology and style. Their products are meant to be full of useful features to make your life easier—and they’re all made of quality materials.
