Monterey Pillows by Jonathan Adler

In keeping with this week’s exploration of everything sinuous, meet the Monterey Pillows designed by American ceramicist and designer Jonathan Adler. In particular, Monterey Bullseye and Monterey Circles celebrate roundness in all its glory.

Monterey Bullseye Pillow

The beauty of Monterey Bullseye is that is reimagines the concept of a target. There’s no violence implied with this recognizable form; instead, the pillow marks the very spot you’d like to be.

Monterey Circles Pillow

Monterey Circles features three ovoid circles, along with some overlapping lines and shapes. The rectangular pillow works alone as a lumbar pillow (and it’s perfect for petite spaces). It also looks great in groups of pillows, with or without other Monterey patterns.

Monterey Pillows neutral

Made of linen ground with corded embroidery, Monterey pillows come in two decade-inspired color combinations—bold 60s and earthy 70s.
