Lebello’s M2 Pop Pops
Tambor: drum, n; a musical instrument constructed of skin etc. stretched on a round frame and beaten with a stick.
Admittedly, Lebello’s M2 Pop stool reads more drum than mushroom, yet it still proffers a mushroom-esque silhouette.
Like most mushrooms, this handsome Teak stool exhibits the tell-tale undulation or “sprouting” phenomena in which the top blossoms above the bottom. Since M2 has equal dimensions on both, the form is modulated here, but it still seems to belong to the familiar family of fungi.
M2 is a versatile piece. Teak is a resilient and durable wood—weathering well by a moisture-laden poolside or smack dab in the desert. This stool is indoor/outdoor all the way.
Here’s a cool option: integrated illumination. LED lights give it a peaceful, uniform glow.
Lebello offers M2 in multiple colors: 14 in all including an icy blue “Glass” and industrial Patina Tin. There’s also the “Spinner Pop” iteration that effectively joins three into one, making for a strange, sprawling shape that’s even more like a mushroom.
