Spanish lighting brand Vibia worked with Barcelona-based Lievore Altherr Molina studio to produce Skan—a pendant with a penchant for purity.

According to Vibia, “Skan represents a return to what is essential: pure, delicate lines in which the light is the fundamental element while the shape is almost invisible.”

Skan is so thin its silhouette appears otherworldly: The pendant’s simple lines recall a sleek flying saucer. But the luminaire does add a touch of color, its subtlety captivating. It’s available in starry Black and White, earthy Beige and Terra Red, and oceanic Blue and Green.

Lievora Altherr Molina studio was founded by Spanish industrial designer Manel Molina in partnership with Alberto Lievore and Jeannette Altherr. All designers are based in Barcelona, Spain.
