HD Expo 2024: Santa Luzia

HD Expo 2024: Santa Luzia

Santa Luzia, the largest polystyrene (Styrofoam®) recycler in Latin America known for excellence in profile and covering design, is making its debut this year at the HD Expo + Conference. The conference is taking place in Las Vegas from April 30 until May 2, 2024.

Santa Luzia wall paneling

Santa Luzia is at the nexus of the future of design and sustainability. Since starting their recycling initiative in 2002, they have transformed over 87,000 tons of polystyrene into high-quality products.

Their innovative ideas in wall base and coverings combine elegance with environmental responsibility. Plus, their designs are easy to install and simple to clean. The wall paneling seen in the picture above is from their Waves Collection. This delightful design is meant to “bring a sense of fluidity to the rigid compositions of modern architecture.” To me it echoes the ethos of California. I’m transported to palm tree boulevards, the Hollywood sign on the hill, surfboards strapped to the top of the car, and pink-hued Santa Monica sunsets.

The Sense Collection is another embodiment of modernity. This collection represents the harmony that exists between sensation and nuance. Wall panelings in this collection come in three neutrals: Cypress, Cumaru, and Ice Leather. Install these anywhere you want an atmosphere of tranquility and contemporary elegance, since Sense creates “environments that not only visually enchant, but also emotionally involve.”

Santa Luzia’s paneling is made of 96% recycled polystyrene, also known as EPS. It does not mold, does not rot, and is immune to pests and termites. HD Expo + Conference attendees will be pleased to learn Santa Luzia’s collections are water-resistant and can be used in damp environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, and laundries.

Recessed LED lighting design from Santa Luzia

Sense is artistically developed to capture the interplay of light and shadow. It gives off a welcoming and elegant effect. There’s also the ability to incorporate LED lighting features. LED accents make rooms seem a little larger than they actually are and add a charming touch of warmth.

It seems Santa Luzia likes the LEDs. Their illuminated baseboard as seen above from the NEO Collection is another clever idea in their repertoire. This new product not only elucidates a room’s nuance, but is perfect for facilitating cleaning and preventing dirt accumulation. This metallic and ultra-resistant finish is ideal for hospitals, clinics, doctor’s offices, and laboratories looking for a more elegant design.

Meet Santa Luzia at the HD Expo + Conference in Las Vegas at Booth #2238.
