Glass artist Jamie Harris created Infusion Pendants for Todd Merrill Studio. These little lighted lollipops are equally beautiful when lit or unlit.

Harris layers colors within a clear gumdrop pendant. Infusion Pendants are available in four versions with various shapes and color schemes.

According to Todd Merrill Studio, “Superficially the works present themselves as rich color-field paintings … The Infusion Pendants represent an ever-changing examination of color contrast within a functional sculptural format. This work is as tied to American Modernist painting as it is to the Venetian glassblowing tradition.”

Infusion Pendants are little in size and big in style. They show off the beauty of glass as a medium, while also providing diffuse illumination.

Almost like abstract rainbows, Infusion Pendants capture the essence of fluidity. The fact that the colors change depending on the pendants’ angle and electric element only intensifies the immutable beauty of glass and light.
