Gustave by Flos
Who doesn’t love portable, self-powered luminaires? We are living in the future—it’s time for more lighting products without wires. Meet Gustave, designed by designer extraordinaire Vincent Van Duysen, and named after the captivating concierge in Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel.
Fungi-ish and geometric, Gustave “casts a bright circle of light with a dark centre, ideal for a dining scenario,” according to Flos.
The little light stands at attention, ready to illuminate little tables everywhere. Choose from Gustave Residential and Gustave Hospitality.
Gustave represents a new chapter for Flos: “Gustave is the first luminaire to incorporate a system of exclusive, patented by Flos, asymmetrical emission lenses, arranged in revolution and spanning 360º around the position of the lamp.”
Gustave is available in Lacquered Green, Lacquered Brown, Smooth Black, Matt White, Matt Anthracite, Polished Silver, and Raw Aluminium. See other wonderful lighting by Flos at 3rings, including Bellhop (since we’re on the topic of hospitality) and AIM.
