There’s a little bit of a tic-tac-toe thing going on with designer Xingcheng Zhu’s XOX chair.

Gold winner at the 2023 NY Product Design Awards, XOX harnesses natural forms for an innovative chair with an unusual aesthetic.

The X of the wood frame is juxtaposed with the O of the transparent PET back, referencing the soft flow of water and the bending branches of trees for a “distinctive experience that allows people to immerse themselves in the wonders of nature and modern aesthetics while enjoying comfort and beauty.”
