Nuraw Chair

This overt homage to the Brutalists is also an exercise in intriguing juxtaposition.

Altès is playing around with figurative and literal tension here: between hard and soft, iron and fabric, base material and technological refinement, and of course the palpable tension between the textile and the metal frame that manifests in this thing we call “chair.”
