Mohawk Takes Root

Mohawk ups their biophilic credentials with a new LVT line: NeoCon Best of Hard Surface Flooring winner Taking Root.

The collection features three styles: Zone Lines, Transfiguration, and Mycotexture, the latter two inspired by the intricate and mysterious forms of mushrooms and mycellium.

The linear Zone Lines also takes its cue from nature: the hypnotic wood grain patterns of spalted maples.

In addition to the Best of award, NeoCon also recognized the Taking Root collection for achievement in sustainability. In addition to meeting Mohawk’s rigorous Beyond Neutral standards, Taking Root also enhances access to biophilic elements in the built environment: “bringing health and wellness benefits to more end users at more affordable price points.”
