Preform will be presenting its products to the U.S. for the first time at NeoCon 2023. The German acoustical solutions brand makes its debut with Casa pod, a freestanding acoustical divider developed for video calls.

Anyone who has ever worked in an open office knows it’s difficult to make a phone or video call with any degree of privacy. The Casa pod seeks to change this by providing a little house-shaped enclave with superb acoustical properties.

The house shape offers privacy without taking up as much space as closed systems, according to Preform. The partially open roof also minimizes noise, offering “near-transmitter sound absorption.”

Inside Casa, professional backgrounds and various lighting options make for “optimal conditions in video calls”—but it still can’t make your dog stop barking!
