At Salone del Mobile: Nube Italia
Join Nube Italia at Salone del Mobile as the brand unveils new designs and recent revivals, all part of the vision of new Art Director Fabio Fantolino.
Here’s the Landó sofa to start. A piece from the 90s that’s now 33 years old, Landó gets a brief refresh in the form of slight changes in the proportions and a new combination of fabric and suede. With its sleek, straight lines and tonal contrast between the fabric and the frame, Landó is a timeless piece with a contemporary aspect.
Nube Italia is also reviving a piece by the iconic Carlo Colombo. The aptly named Glove armchair is compact, comfy, and modern, offering classic mid-century appeal with Colombo’s unique personal signature.
Lastly, work by Fantolino himself fits right in with the existing Nube oeuvre. Bold evokes the formal playfulness and earthy palette of the 70s, while Sailor embodies an elegant simplicity with its spare formula of movable cushions, a metal base, and wooden feet: “hovering in a stable balance of lines and geometries to furnish any space.”
