Diamond Emerald
One thing about Boca Do Lobo, they never go small.
In fact, grand statements seem to be their thing, so it’s hardly surprising that the Diamond Emerald sideboard is named for not one but two of civilization’s most cherished gems.
And once you get a look at the inside of this exuberant sideboard you might be tempted to add a third.
But “Diamond Emerald Gold” begins to sound a bit tiresome, like someone was just throwing out names of jewels, so there’s some admirable restraint here in pulling back on the name, even if the piece insides are gilded with gold leaf.
Diamond Emerald earns its first gem for its captivating exterior, color of the metropolis of Oz, and the second for its faceted surface, “like an amethyst Diamond, with three highly sculpted doors.”
Pretty cool. But not for those lacking confidence or bent on restraint. Diamond Emerald is opulent: inside, outside, and along its angular surface every which way.
