As the trend for marble continues to grow, wallpaper manufacturers are getting in on the act with affordable wallcoverings that resemble the real deal.

Earlier this year Belgian wallpaper brand Omexco celebrated the launch of its new 'Eternity' line. This luxurious collection of washable ecological non-woven wallpapers features photo realistic designs resembling marble, travertine, limestone and granite.

Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek has partnered with manufacturer NLXL to create a collection of eight wallpapers that resemble architectural materials such as marble, brick and wood.

Danish brand Ferm Living’s marble-effect wallpaper is printed on WallSmart wallpaper (non-woven fleece). WallSmart wallpaper is a new generation of non-woven wallpaper that is easier and faster to hang.

Melding traditional marbling techniques with modern designs, Calico’s signature wallpaper styles-Wabi, Lunaris and Night – were inspired by antique papers but also recall opulent marble slabs.

British brand Osborne & Little transfer the marbling trend onto the walls with its Travertino collection.
