Gradient Glow: Lighting Trend

Available in pendant and table versions, the hand-blown glass shades of Studio WM’s ‘Gradient’ lamps feature a subtle gradient that fades from colored opaque to transparent.
Launched at Last month’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, the conical blown-glass shade of Marco Zito‘s ‘Caiigo’ lamp for Foscarini is designed to mimic the morning mist that rises up from the Venetian Lagoon.
With its light source hidden in the socket, the Fog lamp by Swedish design studio Front for Zero lighting features a partly frosted glass shade that diffuses the light so the lamp appears as if it is lit by a glowing mist.
