Mock Rock and Tit-for-Tatt by Ghislaine Viñas for Flavor Paper
has collaborated with renowned interior designer Ghislaine Viñas to create two new wallcoverings: Mock Rock and Tit-for-Tatt. This is the first product collaboration for Viñas, who is known for her playful sensibility and bold use of color-she won the Pantone “Color Outside the Lines” competition for color use in residential interiors, as well the prestigious Benjamin Moore Hue Award in 2010.
Wallcoverings Feature Bold Color and Playful Designs
Inspired by a natural rock fireplace at Viñas' home, Mock Rock features organic stone outlines "sketched in a unique juxtaposition for a Flintstone feel." Available in four colors, including graphic Opal, subtle Dolomite, mossy Epidote, and royal Sodalite, Mock Rock translates texture into a flat surface, which makes it cartoony and whimsical.
Tit-for-Tatt has a maximalist aesthetic, combining polka dots with tattoo art "for an unsuspecting marriage of patterns that will look traditional from afar, and surprisingly sarcastic up close." This pattern highlights Viñas' postmodern flair for combining diverse elements in a self-conscious way. Tit-for-Tatt comes in Canary, Dove, Emerald, and Mars.
