Following on from the global success of Jaime Hayon‘s collection for London design brand S©, Slovenian designer Nika Zupanc has been asked to design Collection III, which will launch during next week’s Salone del Mobile at Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan.

Nika's designs draw upon the aesthetic of 1950s furniture and modernist influences whilst subtly introducing symbols and motifs associated with the power of sport. These are objects of comfortable luxury, each with a strong identity and a clear richness, yet classic in their ability to work within a variety of commercial, private and domestic environments.

Set to launch during this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, Collection III combines wood, metal, marble and fabric whilst the shapes are dynamic and light. Defined by Se as ‘comfortable luxury’, the pieces are designed to work within a variety of commercial, private and domestic environments.

Speaking about the collection, Zupanc says, “With Collection III, I wanted to blend timeless elegance, sensitivity and tenderness with a splash of smoky, determined and even masculine reality.”
