FilzFelt + Ruckstuhl Acoustic Panel Collection
Given today's more informal work styles, where people move about the office to work alone or in groups, the need for sound control is becoming apparent. In order to maintain casual career spaces without sacrificing quiet, FilzFelt and Ruckstuhl are introducing an Acoustic Panel Collection that includes wall-mounted, suspended, tabletop, and freestanding panels.
Acoustic Panels Designed by Matteo Thun and Atelier Oï
Due to be formally launched at NeoCon 2014 this June, the FilzFelt + Ruckstuhl Acoustic Panel Collection brings together the talents of FilzFelt, a distributor of German-milled 100% wool design felt, and Ruckstuhl, a Swiss manufacturer of natural floor coverings. But the collaboration doesn't stop with those two knowledgeable companies, because the FilzFelt + Ruckstuhl Acoustic Panel Collection was designed by Italian designer Matteo Thun and Swiss design house Atelier Oï.
All this talent translates into a versatile and practical product line. The FilzFelt + Ruckstuhl Acoustic Panel Collection marries quality materials and minimalist style with 100% sound absorption. They have an added boon too, since "they double as moveable partitions, projection and tack surfaces." Additionally, the panels offer pops of color and texture that can enliven offices and inspire workers to get things done.
