Taking its name from the ancient practice of Japanese craftsmanship and precision artistry, Takumi Technology is made up of four layers of components: The protective surface layer protects product from stains and the harmful effects of harsh cleaners – making it easy care and low maintenance. The topskin layer, made from unique polycarbonate resins engineered for maximum hydrolysis resistance, is color-infused for long lasting vibrancy and enduring strength.

The micro foam layer is a polycarbonate substrate with a foam construction, providing added cushion and high moisture transfer, which contribute to thermal comfort and cooling the body. Finally, the substrate layer of premium reinforced rayon fibers is woven for dimensional stability making it easy for upholstery and tailoring.
