As we saw at last week’s New York International Gift Fair, Pablo has added some new ultra-thin options to its lineup thanks to ever improving flat-panel LED technology.

The lighting designer has rolled out new designs, including Cielo pendants and Circa lamps, using flat-panel LEDs to achieve the lamps’ unique shapes

The new Cielo pendant is designed to cast balanced, glare-free light over the surface below, whether installed individually or in a group. The aluminum-body lamp is available in combinations of white with Moss and Tomato as well as in an all-black version, a range that allows it to fit into a variety of environments. Turquoise, copper, and black fabric cords are also available. The LED light source is fully dimmable and is composed of energy efficient LEDs rated for up to 50K hours.

Available in spring 2013 Circa, in table and floor lamp designs, “blur the boundary between the utilitarian work lamp and traditional shaded lamp,” explain the designers of Pablo Studio. The lamp’s flat-panel LED disc swivels to allow it to function as a task lamp in a nearly limitless range of positions. Like all of Circa's parts, the LED disc connects to the other components without fasteners, giving the lamp a seamless look and allowing the structure to adapt to table, floor, and ceiling applications.
