Bisazza’s 2013 Mosaic Collections
Italian tile brand Bisazza has unveiled its 2013 Mosaic Collections, featuring designs by Nendo and Marcel Wanders.
From subtle shimmering designs to vibrant floral motifs the 2013 Collection embodies Bisazza’s signature sophistication and elegance.
The Collection also includes designer collaborations with world renowned designers Nendo and Marcel Wanders. Nendo’s two designs are called Kumo-Cloud and Hana-Flower, while Wanders has designed Bloem (Flower), which is mounted using the andamento technique.
Also part of the 2013 Collection are Bricks, Wavem Shift, Opera 25 and Variations. Bricks is a collection of rectangular tiles (20x50mm) that are available in a new alignment format with staggered joints, as well as in the traditional “orthogonal” tile positioning. All colors and blends in 20x20mm tiles from the Bisazza palette will also be available in the Shift collection with the new staggered alignment.
Wave, is a new d©cor where tiles are placed using the andamento technique to follow a pattern representing a series of waves. All solid colors and blends in 20x20mm tiles from the Bisazza palette may be laid in this pattern to create an original and refined decoration.
Opera 25 is a range of transparent enamel mosaic tiles which are available in 25x25mm tiles and eight muted colors. Variations combines tiles of differing sizes and shades to create unique patterns and blends, resembling the texture of twined fabric.
