The Gradient Red lamp by Dutch design studio, Usuals, is a simple design made up of overlapping layers of wool.

A neutral length of wool is dipped in a striking, scarlet dye to create a pleasing color gradient.

The designers have chosen to use draped layers of Divina wool by Danish textile brand Kvadrat, which create varied intensities of warm light. Soft and tactile, the lamp measures 60cm in diameter, making it a impactful centre piece for any space.
