Integrating LED lighting into large-scale urban applications is one of the best ways to make big cuts in energy consumption. And the options for doing so are getting more interesting each year. Quebec-based lighting manufacturer Luminis is adding to the market with its new concept, MayaLED, a line featuring four options for outdoor area lighting.

MayaLED lamps are rated for 80,000 hours with a lumen maintenance of 70 percent

All lamps in the MayaLED collection are suited for landscape lighting applications including parks, campuses, and corporate developments. The MayaLED 10, 14, and 14SH designs are post-top luminaires, while the MayaLED 12 model is a wall-mounted fixture for lighting areas like building exteriors and stairways.

The line's components are made with corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy, with the power supply housed in a separate chamber to allow easy maintenance without disruption to the lighting chamber. With a removable and replaceable LED PC board, the lamps are also compatible with future upgrades.
