Blue and White Tiles Create Irregular Heights Atop the Gold Leaf Interior of the Limited Edition Heritage Sideboard by Boca do Lobo.
“After a huge success with Heritage Cabinet and its honor to the hand painted tiles Portuguese history, Boca do Lobo, Limited Edition now presents an Heritage Sideboard,” writes the description of the company’s latest Limited Edition collection piece. In their sequel piece to the Heritage Cabinet, the Heritage Sideboard brings out the layered version of a similar piece that uses painted tiles. According to Boca do Lobo, each layer of tile tells a unique story with its imagery that spans different times, or centuries, to form a final panel design that acts as a piece of history.
Each image depicted across the tiles of the Heritage Sideboard was inspired by old historic buildings – like convents and colleges – that tell the stories of an ancient Portugal. As this beautiful outer layer takes on a serene, classic look in the pictures represented and cool color combination, the interior of the sideboard is made of warm gold leaf to bring out the historical references drawn to ornamentation used in design as well as a focus on discovering gold. It’s size measures approximately 62.9″W x 35.4″H x 16.7″D.
A classic sideboard beauty shines through the painted images that bow to a historic Portugal while its irregular height and depth usage take hold of the modern side. When push comes to shove, the unique vision of a sideboard is accomplished with the Limited Edition Heritage Sideboard by Boca do Lobo.
