Marco Bisenzi created an LED light-powered piece of reflective art in their recent release of Round, a suspension lamp for B.Lux. As part of their prolific DECO Collection, the lamp’s reflective appearance donned the phrase “Light is aRound” to describe its look that contains a mirror within.

‘Light is aRound’ Describes the Reflection of the Round Suspension Lamp by Marco Bisenzi for B.Lux.

In two sizes, the clear and mirror layered sphere is designed to be used with a sustainable light source. The S1-40 version features a 40 cm diameter and the S1-50 lamp features a 50 cm diameter which varies just enough in size to create a beautiful planetary hanging effect from the ceiling using a vibrant red fabric-covered flex cord in residential or commercial spaces.

To create the spherical lamps, a mirrored layer was placed inside of a transparent polycarbonate surface to give the visual depth and reflection. Additionally, the mirror is protected from getting scratches with the clear surface. Each of the 40 cm and 50 cm diameter suspension lights use LED lights to regulate the light output. While the S1-40 contains space for nine LEDs, the ten extra centimeters around the S1-50 allows it to almost double its light power, containing fifteen LED bulbs.

Whether its the reflection, the spherical shape, or the twisty red flex cord that suspends the Round Suspension Lamp from its ceiling, Marco Bisenzi and B.Lux are to be congratulated on the repeated beauty of a protected mirror lamp that shines using LED lights.
