The Crypton Collection by Michael Graves for Crypton and the contract market was designed to bring Italy to life through almost 100 colorways within nine patterns. Of these nine, seven have been selected as textiles for use by Hill-Rom, a major innovator in the healthcare industry.

Designed specifically for the contract market – that requires absolute durability with an age-old look and style certainty – the Crypton Collection falls hand-in-hand with every need the healthcare industry could have. The nine versions of this gorgeous textile collection mimic different miniature escapes one could have while traveling through the region. The names and clearly defined scenes within the Hill-Rom selected patterns are: Tuscan Garden, Umbrian Landscape, Umbrian Rain, Umbrian Stripe, Umbrian Village, Tuscan Hills, and Tuscan Forest.

As Graves puts it, the Crypton Collection capitalizes on gorgeous scenes of the Italian agricultural center he experienced during his travels and studies by “celebrating the landscapes, colors, and architecture of Italy… Graves’ past and present influences are articulated in this vibrant coordinated collection.” Each of the patterns comes in 9-13 colors and measure 54″ width made from 100% polyester in a jacquard weave. Complete with a moisture barrier, and bacterial and microbial resistance, they were created for their durability.
